Federal HAPCO published the monthly update on ART in Ethiopia, "HIV Care and ART Update for the month Meskerem, 2001 (as of October 8, 2008) and Tikimit, 2001 (as of November 8, 2008)" . The update lists ART uptake by site and number of new enrolled patients in Ethiopia as of the above mentioned dates. EFDR Prime Minister Meles Zenawi
Prime Minister Meles Zenawi said the leadership at all levels should intensify the battle against HIV/AIDS. World AIDS Day is marked today in Fiche town of Oromia State with the theme “leadership”.
In his message in connection with the Day, the Prime Minister said the Day is marked under the theme to further strengthen the fight against HIV/AIDS. The Premier said the main objective of the government is to ensure democracy and good governance, extricate the country from poverty and make it one of the middle income countries. |
